DRINK RITUAL

Aperitif time in Mallorca, as in  many other Mediterranean areas can become a true ritual. We will start drinking a good Vermouth and make our own “Banderilla”, a typical appetiser with chilli pepper, olives and anchovies. We will enter the world of local and natural food preservations techniques.

After the aperitif we will get to work and start a hands-on cooking workshop to prepare a complete Mallorcan seasonal menu together. Including a snack, a starter, a main, a dessert and of course local wine.

In this workshop, our cultural approach to cooking will allow you to explore Mallorca’s finest terroir, typical dishes and culinary traditions following family recipes and the island’s food calendar: from key seasonal ingredients to iconic products, all paired with organic wines and a sustainable food ethos.

A NEW APPROACH TO TRADITIONS

Seasonality, local products, harmony with nature, gratitude are values that have inspired our relationship with nature from time immemorial. At Forn de la Llotgeta we believe that traditional food cultures are a great source of knowledge to help us address major sustainability challenges, including the way we experiment our travel experiences.
