HONORING MALLORCA TRADITIONAL culture
HONORING MALLORCA TRADITIONAL culture
At Forn de sa Llotgeta, we create memorable experiences and content that connects travelers and tourists with the Mallorcan territory, traditional foods and local crafts.
Seasonality, austerity, harmony with nature, gratitude are values that have inspired our relationship with nature from time immemorial. We believe that traditional cultures are a great source of knowledge to help us address major sustainability challenges, including the way we experiment our travel experiences.
Forn de sa Lotgeta is an emblematic bakery dating from the 18th Century. The building is a typical construction from the Mallorcan Middle Age. With more than 600 years of history, Forn de la LLotgeta is a small jewel of medieval architecture, guardian of the history of the island and the secrets of the old city.
We are happy to share this magical space with you in our food workshops and other culinary experiences that are scheduled during the year. Here our aim is to promote a new approach to traditional food cultures.
We want to invite you to connect in a deep, sincere and intimate way with our traditional culture to honor local food, producers and artisans who work with love and respect for this island.
Our cultural approach to cooking will allow you to explore Mallorca’s finest terroir, typical dishes and culinary traditions following family recipes and the island’s food calendar: from key seasonal ingredients to iconic products, all paired with organic wines and a sustainable food ethos. We strictly follow the island’s food calendar and adapt our menus to each season and our all the ingredients are locally sourced.
We hope to see you soon in our culinary studio!
